Russ Peterson Ph.D
Founding Partner & Director
Russell E. Peterson (REP) is a Founding Partner of Microbaric® Oxygen Systems (MBOS). His extensive experience in the related fields of diving medicine and physiology, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy have been critical to recognizing the potential of Microbaric® Oxygen Therapy and its subsequent development. Throughout his career, REP's passion for applied rather than basic science has led him on a path to develop and/or improve practice. Russ has an A.B. in Biology from Stanford University, and earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Pennsylvania at the Institute for Environmental Medicine under C. J. Lambertsen, M.D.
Mike Allen
Founding Partner & Director
During his long career, Mike acquired extensive knowledge and skills in the areas of hyperbaric and diving medicine and physiology. As a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) he served for 19 years on the committee responsible for the design and construction of diving and hyperbaric medical chamber systems (ASME-PVHO). Mike was the lead engineer responsible for the development of four clinical monoplace chamber designs for critical-care and non-critical applications. He was also a pioneer in the research that brought to light the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for sports injuries and other uncompromised trauma (i.e., “normal wounds” such as cosmetic surgery). Finally, MWA has provided input critical to the research and development of MBO2, particularly for MBOS’s breathing gas delivery systems and equipment.
Dave Allen
Partner & Director
Dave has held a number of international sales and field operations executive leadership roles in blue-chip high tech organisations such as Sun Microsystems, NetApp and Palo Alto Networks and brings a strong track record in business growth, operational excellence, sales leadership and extensive go-to-market experience to MBOS. As a British national level sports competitor - Dave has a lifelong interest in physiology, and all manners of health and wellbeing, he also works as a transformation coach supporting and helping people build the mindset to achieve their best. Dave further holds a non-exec roles in a company working on regenerative medicine (stem cell related). He has an Masters of Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, and is an alumni of the Insititue for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Dr. Jorge B. Pisarello serves as Medical Director for Microbaric™ Oxygen
Systems (MBOS). JBP's medical training, including specialty training in internal medicine and cardiology, has been in Argentina and the United States, and he has practiced in both countries. In the US, he has been Medical Director of wound care and hyperbaric medical programs, and involved in cutting-edge research on oxygen tolerance with Drs. C.J. Lambertsen and J.M. Clark at the Institute for Environmental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
